As some of you may be aware, I am a lover of all things yoga! Last year, I qualified to teach children and teenagers. I have really enjoyed leading sessions in our schools and both pupils and parents have responded positively to the opportunity to practice in school.

Launching and regularly practicing my ‘Grow with Yoga’ sessions has enabled children to unite body, mind and breath at the end of their school day in a collective, calm and positive way.  Through using a regular practice children are provided with techniques to be able to manage behaviour and respond to stress, anxiety and depression more effectively.  I plan the sessions following a themed sequence as I encourage my young yogis to cherish themselves and their bodies, nourish the time they dedicate, in order to flourish and feel good.

Over the years, yoga has supported me both physically and emotionally. If you have not yet given it a go, I encourage you to try it – inhale confidence, exhale doubt!
