Training & Events

We offer a broad range of training opportunities and events through STEP to help support professional development at all levels. There are a number of sessions that are open to STEP members only. However whenever possible we do open up our training to non-members so that more schools can benefit from the provision.
All of our events are listed below in our online booking system which is quick and easy to use. Simply click on the event you are interested in on the left hand-side and the details and booking options will appear on the right hand-side. Complete all the necessary details and once submitted you will receive an email confirming your booking.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Payment should be made by cheque (payable to Bradgate Education Partnership) to STEP Teaching School Alliance, Wreake Valley Academy, Parkstone Road, Syston, Leicester, LE7 1LY or by BACS.
Please ensure you quote your BOOKING REFERENCE NUMBER with your payment.
Payment must be received prior to the course commencing.
The school will be liable for payment once the booking has been made
Confirmation of booking will be sent by email when the booking is made.
BEP Schools – please note that journals will be raised internally for authorisation by the headteacher for any course fees.

STEP reserves the right to cancel an event e.g. if under-subscribed. In such circumstances a full refund will be made. Places may be cancelled in writing to STEP prior to the course commencing, but refunds will only be issued based on the following notice periods:-

  • More than 29 working days before – full refund
  • 15-28 working days before – 50% of the fee will be refunded
  • Less than 14 working days before – no refund.

Please note that if the delegate is unable to attend the event the place can be taken by another colleague in school at no additional cost.
